Company Profile

Established in 1987, with a love for woodworking, Handcrafted Furniture has grown from a dream into a reality.  Handcrafted Furniture Co., Inc. is a one-family owned and operated woodworking enterprise.  It all started back in 1987 with the building of furniture in a small garage.  In 1994 we started construction of a new woodworking shop in the Wausau West Industrial Park, which was needed for the extra space required for producing larger furnishings, it was completed in 1995. 

In 1992 we opened our first retail store. In 1993 we purchased the historical, old "Carriage Shop".  We then moved the building to its present location at 1616 N. 6th Street on Wausau's East side. The building underwent renovations and yet preserved the character and charm of this beautiful historic building.

Handcrafted Furniture specializes in custom built furnishings.  We believe that "CUSTOM BUILT" means you decide the wood, size, shape, style, color and look of your new furniture.  Handcrafted Furniture manufactures heirloom quality wood furniture you can't find anywhere else.  All built in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Our furniture is made with many select woods - OAK, BIRCH, CHERRY, MAPLE, HICKORY, WALNUT and more upon request.
